Being an ABTA education partner helps us ensure our teaching is relevant and in line with the latest industry thinking. Access to networking and employment opportunities for our students are also part of this excellent support programme for HE, affording our students unrivalled opportunities for professional growth.

Dr Lisa Gorton, Leeds Beckett University

Being an ABTA Education Partner enables us to be at the heart of the tourism and travel ecosystem and engage in dynamic dialogue with our industry. Our research contributes to the knowledge base of tourism and our students are trained to for the future challenges. ABTA keeps us aware of current affairs and policies and brings us all together on a dynamic dialogue.

Professor Dimitrios Buhalis, Bournemouth University

Being an ABTA Education Partner for more than 15 years has been a fantastic experience for the University of Surrey. Our students love the real-world insight from guest lectures on crisis comms and sustainability, the chance to connect with industry mentors, and access to ABTA’s Knowledge Zone — which even helped all our first-year students gain ABTA sustainability certification over the last two years. It’s a partnership that really brings the travel industry to life in the classroom.
