Visit Brick Lane

Brick Lane was formerly called Whitechapel Lane. Brick Lane is a street in Shoreditch East London, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The Brick Lane has been famous for Sunday market for many years. Most of the shops of Sunday Market offers second had products in very affordable price. It is one of the most popular market for used product market in UK. Every Sunday morning thousands of shoppers and hundreds of shop keepers are gathered at Brick Lane.

It has almost more than 100 restaurants, mainly Bangladeshi. There are also other cuisines available including Argentinian restaurant, Japanese restaurants, Mexican restaurant, Cafes, Thai restaurants, sweet shops and bakery etc. There are also some trendy bar and pubs at Brick Lane. On Sunday market there is a unique variety of clothes, handbags and jewellery. There are also some  colourful vintage clothing shops  and chic boutiques dotted around the area.

It’s current name came from brick and tile manufacture started in the 15^th century.  By the way you can’t see any sort of brick manufacturing now days J .  Modern Brick Lane is famous for trendy restaurants, pubs , clubs Art galleries Vintage clothing’s and curry houses owned by Bangladeshi .  It’s a hub of UK’s Bangladeshi community. Brick Lane also known as Bangla Town because of big crowd from Bangladeshi back ground. It's a popular tourist attraction for colourful diversity and heritage. 

Visit Brick Lane by Public Transport : 

North side of Brick Lane is connected with Whichapel High Street where you can find lots of buses to different destinations of London. Aldgate East underground station is quite close to it. One the other hand you can visit Brick Lane from Shoreditch High Street underground/Overground station. Shoreditch high street is connected with Brick Lane from the North end of it.
